Some of Ammar's most spectacular paintings - which utilise a painting technique Ammar developed from 2014 to 2015 - are the Dervishes. Well known all around the world as "whirling dervishes", their inner life and habits were previously poorly understood, until now.
“Whirling” they are indeed - an important part of their existence; however, through Ammars’ paintings, their simple way of living, as decent and ascetic monks can be seen. A fabulous collection, soon to be exhibit, Ammars’ Dervishes!
