Well named by a Romanian collector, Mr. Tiţa, as a "Syrian sculptor, but a Romanian painter", Ammar Alnahhas recreates in his art several patterns from his origin country: the fish, the bird, the goat, and the donkey. Later on his work, influenced by the wealthiest Horezu folk-art, he paints also the rooster.
Horses, which equally are loved by the artist, became one of his chef  d'oevre.  Either painted in the good traditional way....

Eventually, Ammar constantly surprises it's collectors with good news, as "The Rooster from Horezu" he recently paint: wealthy and good luck, this is the meaning of a beautiful folk-art Romanian symbol, in the painting left quoted, and dated 2014.
